Prohibited / Restricted / Dangerous Items - Document & Personal Baggage

Prohibited substances for international courier services typically include items that are considered dangerous, illegal, or hazardous to transport.

Here's a list of common prohibited/restricted items & dangerous goods:

Prohibited / Restricted Items:

• Prohibited/ Restricted items for Personal Baggage:
  
  • Any Liquid items, Perfumes, Perfume Sprays, Attar Bottle, Liquor, Oils, Ghee, Mehandi powder, Mitti face pack, Rangoli Powder, Liquid Deodorants, Roll-on Deodorants, Aerosol Containers, including Hair Spray, Cleaning Fluids, Insecticides, Air Fresheners, Cooking Spray, Volini or equivalent Spray cans, Gels etc.
  • Any items such as rice, Copra (Dried coconut kernels), Batteries, Power Bank, Nail Polish, Nail Cutter, Playing Cards, Knife, Magnet, M-seal, Scissors, Candles Thayathu (auspicious yantram), Parani (Haldi Paste -Turmeric mixed with chunam smeared by women on their feet at a wedding), Turmeric, Kumkum, eye kajal, eye liners, toy gun, etc.,
  • Any Solid Wood(not ply wood or pressboard)item, such as swing, God Mantap etc., must bear a heat treatment mark or be certified as having been treated with an approved ISPM (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures) compliant fumigant.
  • Medicines (other than prohibited) can be shipped separately. But no medicines, drugs can be concealed along with food items, clothes etc.,
  • Any matches, lighter blocks, Dry ice (Carbon Dioxide, Solid), Dhoop, Dhoop Sticks, Agarbathi, Candles, Camphor, Wax, Sambrani and other flammable solids.
• Restriction on some food & other items in some countries for Personal Baggage:
  
  • Germany: Food Items allowed but Milk and Poultry Based Commodities strictly prohibited.
  • Italy: All type of Food Items banned.
  • Spain: Food and Cosmetic Items are banned.
  • Indonesia: Very Critical Country. Normally we do not accept any personal Shipments. Even if we accept then, the Consignee is Liable to clear the shipment.
  • Norway and Netherland: Food and Medicine are prohibited.
  • Sweden, Poland, Belgium: Normally food items are not accepted.
  • China: Consignee must give all the Information for Reason for Import. If Consignee not responded, then shipment will be abounded.
  • Japan: We do not send any personal shipment like food and medicine. Strictly prohibited
  • RUSSIA:  We do not Ship any single Kg or Commercial Shipments through FedEx as there ia complete embargo on FedEx.
  • Middle east except UAE-Dubai remaining locations medicine are subject to Ministry of Health certificate approval.
  • Mexico: Personal shipments are prohibited. If Consignee willing to clear package at destination, we may send with prior approval.
  • Brazil: High Duties and taxes will be levied. We will ship any packages to Brazil only after we get approval from shipper and Consignee to pay duties and taxes.
  • Philippines: All Type of Products are accepted but all is 100 % dutiable.
• Corrosive Materials:
  
  • Any acidic or alkaline substances, such as battery acid or corrosive cleaning agents etc.,
• Biological or Infectious Materials:
  
  • Any biological samples, infectious substances, medical waste etc.,
• Narcotics and Illegal Drugs:
  
  • Any controlled substances including illegal goods, illicit drugs, Narcotic Stimulants, Depressants, Hallucinogens, Cannabis, its derivatives, medications without proper documentation etc.,
• Counterfeit or Pirated Goods:
  
  • Any counterfeit goods in breach of Intellectual Property rights (IPR), counterfeit/fake products of brands (for ex: Fake Rolex Watch) pirated media, etc.,
• Currency and Negotiable Instruments:
  
  • Any Bank Notes, Currency Notes/Coins, Cheque, Money orders, Travellers Cheques, Activated Credit OR Debit Cards, Foreign Currencies etc., and other negotiable instruments.
• Live Animals / Hunting (Animal Trophy):
  
  • Any Live Animals Horse, Dog, Star Tortoise, Snakes, butterfly, cockatiel & Hunting items like Elephant Tusk (ivory), Shark fin, Deer Skin, Leopard Head, etc.,
• Plant & Perishable items:
  
  • Both animals & plants covered under Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) of Fauna & Flora, Red Sanders etc.,
  • Any Vegetable or Fruits or its seeds
  • Human remains or Ashes in any form.
  • Outdoor items must be cleaned so as to be free from soil, vegetable matter and insect pests.
• Alcohol and Tobacco Products:
  
  • Any alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, etc.,
• Precious Metals, Jewellery and Gemstones:
  
  • Any articles or Jewellery made out of Gold/Silver/Platinum/Diamond, Precious Stones (cut or un-cut; polished or un-polished), Gold Bars, ingots etc.,
• Pornographic & other restricted Materials:
  
  • Any indecent or obscene printing, painting, photograph, lithograph, engraving, book or card, or any other indecent or obscene articles.
  • Any stamped envelopes & parcels, postcard, newspaper, packet or parcel having on it or on the cover thereof, any words, marks or design of an indecent, obscene, seditious, scurrilous threatening, or grossly offensive nature.

Dangerous Goods (DG)

DG (Dangerous Goods) items mean Explosives, Flammable Gases, Flammable Liquids, Flammable Solids, Oxidising, Toxic & Infectious, Radioactive, Corrosives, & miscellaneous highly flammable materials, , Rat Poison, Herbicides, Pesticides, etc.,

• Explosives, Weapons and Firearms:
  
  • Any dynamite, fireworks, flares, grenades, and other explosive materials.
  • Any Firearms, Ammunition, Explosive Devices including inert Explosives or Test Pieces, Air Guns, replica or imitation Fire Arms or Ammunition, Toy Gun, Drone, military equipment and other weapons etc.,
• Flammable Liquids:
  
  • Any substances such as Gasoline, Butane, Propane, Camp Stove Fuel, Charcoal lighter fluid, oil based paint & thinners, alcohol-based liquids, Industrial Solvents, Bleach, Aerosol Containers, including Hair Spray, Cleaning Fluids, Insecticides, Air Fresheners, Cooking Spray, Volini or equivalent Spray cans, Gels etc.,
  • Internal combustion engines must have the fuel drained, be run to a stall, and then have the battery cables disconnected and the battery leads secured. This includes lawn and garden equipment & generators as well as motor cycles.
  • SCUBA and other compressed gas cylinders must be professionally purged.
• Flammable Solids:
  
  • Any matches, lighter blocks, Dry ice (Carbon Dioxide, Solid), Dhoop, Dhoop Sticks, Agarbathi, Candles, Camphor, Wax, Sambrani and other flammable solid.
• Lithium Batteries:
  
  • Any Lithium batteries, Automobile batteries and electronic devices containing lithium batteries etc.,
• Toxic or Poisonous Materials:
  
  • Any chemicals, pesticides, and other toxic substances that pose a risk to human health, Rat Poison, Herbicides, Pesticides, Insecticides, garden chemicals (fertilizers, poisons) etc.,
• Radioactive Materials:
  
  • Any radioactive substances, including certain medical isotopes and laboratory materials etc.,
